Why did Jeon Ji-hyun jump into the fire of ‘Jirisan’?

‘Jirisan’ released a teaser poster with a strong image on the 16th.

tvN’s 15th anniversary special project ‘Jirisan’ is a mystery drama depicting the story of Seo Yi-gang, the best ranger in the Jirisan National Park, and Kang Hyeon-jo, a new ranger with an unspeakable secret, digging up a mysterious accident that occurs in the mountain.

In the released poster, Seo Yi-gang (Jeon Ji-hyun), a national park ranger with a mission to protect the mountain and rescue the victims, jumped into it amid a sudden fire on Mt. Jiri, foretelling a crisis on an overwhelming scale.

The flames spread all over the mountain, blazing scarlet flames, scattered sparks, and thick smoke filling all directions show the dilemma. However, Seo Yi-gang starts a search without hesitation to rescue someone who may have been in danger here, and it is already making her heart flutter.

Also, in her line, “Our job is to survive and return safely in a dangerous place,” you can feel the conviction and determination as a ranger. This raises questions about whether Seo Yi-gang, who knows everything about Mt. Jiri, will be able to protect her loved ones and escape safely even in this dangerous forest fire.

Also, a meaningful question mark is engraved at the end of the incident as to why the green forest and Jirisan, which was overflowing with life, was engulfed in such a devastating fire.

‘Jirisan’ will premiere in October.
