Bae Soo-bin → Lee Il-hwa, the powerful new stealer corps ready for sortie

Bae Soo-bin, Lee Pil-mo, Baek Hyeon-joo, Ko Kyu-pil, Lee Il-hwa, and Son Yeo-eun entered the palace and completed a corps of reliable luxury actors.

First, Bae Soo-bin, who appears in a historical drama for the first time in 11 years, takes on the role of Jeong Seok-jo, the father of Jeong Ji-woon (Rowoon). He is a realist who believes that what is right is not always the right answer, and he works for the forces that thoroughly agree with him.

Next, Lee Hwi (Park Eun-bin)‘s father, ‘Hyejong’, played by Lee Pil-mo, shows a revolutionary political move with his own political beliefs. What these two fathers have in common is that they are so firm in their will and path that they treat their children coldly.

To Hwi and Jiwoon, father is a difficult entity that always feels uncomfortable and distant. There are people who protect Hwi, who can’t depend on their family like that.

Kim Sang-gung (Baek Hyeon-joo) and Hong Nae-kwan (Ko Gyu-pil) are the main characters. From the moment Hwi was born, Kim Sang-gung, who has watched all the growing up, is like a mother, paying close attention to her every move. Hong Nae-kwan, who is also a loyal servant and friend, also supports Hwi in the palace, where a bloody crisis is approaching day by day.

Lee Il-hwa, who became a hot topic with the news of returning to the historical drama after 7 years, plays the role of ‘The Great Queen’ in the play, the best adult of the royal family. She seems to have an infinitely benevolent and warm personality, but she has a formidable skill that has raised her power in the palace.

Son Yeo-eun leads a dramatic conflict by playing the role of ‘Jung-jeon’, Hwi’s stepmother and Hye-jong’s step-mother. She believes that treating Hwi coldly is love for herself, and she stands in a hostile position to Hwi. The fight between two women who are at the center of the power struggle is also expected to be a point of observation for ‘lovely love’.

The production team said, “The solid lineup of ‘The King’s Affection’ has been completed with the joining of luxury actors such as Bae Soo-bin, Lee Pil-mo, Baek Hyeon-joo, Ko Kyu-pil, Lee Il-hwa, and Son Yeo-eun, who guarantee high acting skills just by their names. Please look forward to the exciting stories of these people who will show their perfect presence in their respective places and fill every part of the work.”

The King’s Affection will be broadcast for the first time on KBS 2TV at 9:30 pm on Monday, October 11th.
